Before your arrival, all students must submit the required immunizations through the Georgetown University Immunization and Health Information Database Portal. The specific requirements depend on your age.
How to Meet University Requirements:
Log in to the Georgetown University Immunization Portal using your Net ID and password. Your requirements by age will be visible at the top of the login page.
Review immunization Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and Guides and Forms to upload to the portal if you need help or have questions about your requirements.
Upload required documents:
All students: Upload tuberculosis (TB) testing results under "TB Testing."
Students 25 or younger: Upload immunization history under "Immunization History (under age 26)." Required vaccines: Diphtheria, Tetanus, Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Meningitis.
Students under 18: Also include proof of the polio vaccine.
The immunization portal is accessed using your Georgetown University NetID and password. If you have any difficulty accessing the Immunization Portal, please email: hoyavaxa@georgetown.edu.
Please complete these requirements online in the portal before arriving in the U.S. You are strongly encouraged to get these immunizations in your country. If you do not provide proof of immunization, you will be required to receive the vaccinations at Georgetown in order to register for class. These vaccinations can be expensive, and the Georgetown University health insurance plan does not cover the cost of these. If you have questions about required immunizations, please consult Georgetown's Student Health Services website.
