Overview

Following Summer 2026, Georgetown’s English Language Center will conclude its programs after more than 70 years. Thank you to the students, alumni, faculty, and staff who have been part of our community and contributed to its lasting legacy.

Georgetown University’s English Language Center offers custom programs in professional communication, teacher training, and continuing studies English. We specialize in providing tailored programs for educational councils, ministries of education, universities, and government agencies. Our location in the heart of Washington, D.C., puts us within easy reach of the myriad resources in and around the nation’s capital and allows us to incorporate program features that further enrich your learning experience. Our goal is to create the best learning environment that meets our students’ and clients’ unique needs.

In addition to designing custom programs, the English Language Center regularly offers a variety of intensive full-time and part-time language and teacher training courses.
