Georgetown's English Skills for Graduate Students is a three-week course open to non-native English speakers who have been accepted into a U.S. graduate program. Designed to reactivate your study skills and increase your readiness for graduate-level coursework, this course will prepare you for success in your academic pursuits.

Throughout the program, you'll strengthen your skills in gathering, analyzing, discussing, and presenting information for written and oral assignments, both individually and in group settings. You’ll also develop practical techniques and effective strategies for communicating with professors and classmates in a fast-paced academic environment, navigating the expectations of an American university classroom, and managing the critical reading and writing activities and assignments involved in a graduate program.
